The National publishes the bi-annually list of the most clicked banking products on in the last six months (Q4 2014-Q1 2015).

Humans are a nosy lot. We all like to know what everyone else is interested in – what places they are visiting and what products they are buying into. If the crowd likes something, the rest of us invariably follow. And this is no different when it comes to money matters.

The price comparison website has released its latest ranking of the UAE’s most popular banking products. And it’s interesting to note that SimplyLife – a consumer personal finance brand launched only last year by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – has topped the charts in two categories: credit cards and car loans.

The ranking – released bi-annually by – lists the most clicked on products of the last six months. In this case it applies to the last quarter of 2014 and the first quarter of this year.

So just a year after launching, SimplyLife is already attracting considerable interest from consumers. The products that won people over were the brand’s credit card, available to those earning over Dh8,000 at a rate of 3.09 per cent and its car loan, again available to those earning over Dh8,000 at a reducing rate of 5.99 per cent.
