Dear Marlon,
For any of the postpaid plans with Etisalat or Du, according to both service providers, it is compulsory to provide a copy of your Emirates ID or passport with a valid visa. As a second step, the provider will also ask for your UAE credit card copy or statement. However, if you do not have a credit card, you can provide a copy of your salary certificate instead. For Etisalat postpaid plans, you need to have a salary certificate of minimum AED 4,000. For Du postpaid plans, you need to have a salary certificate of minimum AED 2,500, or AED 15,000 (for plans above AED 600 per month). Note that this information is from Etisalat and Du’s websites.
Where we can get this plan? Interested in getting samsung s edege, but I don’t have credit card and my salary 4,000.00
per month. Can you pls. gudie me to get this de4vice by installment basis.
Dear Louisa,
You can select any one of the instalment plans as listed in the article. Once you have decided which plan you would like to go for, visit any Etisalat or Du store with your Emirates ID/passport copy. Since you do not have a credit card, you will need to provide your salary certificate. Do ensure that your salary certificate is dated correctly (since it has a one month expiry), is stamped by your company and is addressed to Etisalat/Du.
I would like to know which is a better postpaid plan according to you, du or etisalat ! planning to get one soon
Do it need a specific minimum rate of salary to get the device?
Hi Jeric, for the plans specifically, according to the service providers, here is the information we have: For Etisalat postpaid plans, you need to have a salary certificate of minimum AED 4,000. For Du postpaid plans, you need to have a salary certificate of minimum AED 2,500, or AED 15,000 (for plans above AED 600 per month). You can contact either Du or Etisalat about getting just the device.
